Bit more wind than forecast so rigged biggest I brought 96/6m and found easily enough wind. Nice swells to turn on. Went to harbour wall at low tide so waves small. I tried front ridng a few times and crashed out so followed someone in to pick up tips then thought 'blimey that looks shallow' followed by my fin snapping off. Walked gear in across rough rocks, ouch, derigged then lugged it back through town where I encountered people just would not move.
Stuck 25cm fin in and continued good sail, keeping away from harbour wall as busy. Shore seems to have unofficial separation of kiters and windsurfers which keeps a bit on sea too, so that ' s better. Apart from broken fin good first day and made in 3 instead of 4*.
